Out of all the pictures so far, I have found this one to be the most difficult to write about. Love is probably the most sought out experience to obtain in ones life time, yet the most misunderstood. From murder mysteries, to historical nonfictions, a love story is most likely to be included. With the expectations we put on others and the failure to obtain true love, we seem to harden out hearts and thus fill the void of other so called pleasures. We tend to redirect our love elsewhere, whether it be money, ourselves, our pets, or even drugs to numb the wanting; anywhere where we feel we'll get some sort of satisfaction that can never really fulfill the true need, which is God. I have to say the most indescribable experience in my life was when I met God alone in my room. I felt the presence of the most perfect love I could ever know, which changed my life forever. It all started with a simple and desperately sincere prayer. I wanted to know how to truly love without selfish motives, with a pure and innocent heart. I figured since I couldn't find that in the world, I wanted to be one who could love with a heart that was true. How could I expect this love from others, if I couldn't give this love I wanted. So this is where God and I met, tired and honest before Him. His love came in like no other and the void was filled with the One who it was reserved for. I had met the true definition of love-God. This wedding invitation is from Him to you as He so desires to love you to fill that void designed just for Him. His ways are a blessing and bring you into a relationship with Him that is addictive, yet satisfying. This living water He offers you (Jn. ch. 4 Jn. 7:37-38) will cause you to never thirst after anything else as it refreshes you (Is. 12:3), cleanses you and deepens your love for Him as deep calls to deep (Ps. 42:7)in the waterfalls. He frees you from the hurts and the pains of failures and experiences in your life and causes you to grow and thrive in the midst of adversity. We easily get entangled with the cares of this world when there He is to take your hand and share His Kingdom with you (Jn. 18:36). He told us the Kingdom of God is within you (Lk. 17:21), when you first repent (Mt. 3:2, 4:17) of your old nature (Ga. 5:24) which lacks this love. Then He invites you to sup with Him (Mt. ch. 22), for He is the Kingdom that comes to dwell in your being so that you can be one with Him. This is the mystery (Eph. 5:32) of which He desires for you to partake in. We were designed for this blessing of which we never earned. It is a gift (Eph. 2:8-9), so no one could boast, but to obtain a grateful and sincere heart that enables you to love your God with all your heart, soul, and strength (Dt. 6:5). Truly that is the peace, joy, and love we desire or deny. The choice is ours (Dt. 30:19). A deer thirsts after the water (Ps. 42:1) as we should for God. These are the hearts He is seeking out for the Wedding. There are some who have forsaken their first love (Rev. 2:4) for knowledge and gifts from Him. All these attributes without love are meaningless (1Co. ch 13). They have run out of oil (Mt. ch 25) and miss out on the new wine (Mt 9:17, Lk 5:37) which saddens Him. To be in love with God is an act of obedience to His Word (Dt 5:10, Jn 14:15). The 5 grains depict His Ways in Torah, the first 5 books of Moses. To love Him is to know Him and spend precious time with Him. The 4 butterflies symbolize the 4 gospels as together they complete a view of His fulfillment here (Mk14:49,Mt5:17). Butterflies symbolize being born again of this love (Jn 3:3). The Father's hands hold the Bride and His Son as He is the One who prepares the Bride for His Son (Acts 2:33). She is being washed clean by the living waters (Mikvah). The tree of life (Pr 3:18), His ways, serves as a covering( chupah), of which its leaves never fade (Ps. ch 1) (eternal). The blue jay being blue and white show the tassels (tzitzit) of His Way (Dt. 22:12) bearing witness to the union. Both birds watching the wedding, serve as two witnesses which are required for the betrothal and to sign the contract (Ketubah). When the Bride drinks from the cup Kiddush (sanctification), she is responding with a yes to His proposal (Lk :22:20). The cup that is shared with the Bridegroom at the betrothal ceremony, is known as B'rit (covenant) (Mk 14:24-25). The fall feasts (Lev 23:23-44) prepare us for such a time as this picture starting with Rosh Hashanah, then Yom Kippur, followed by Sukkot. Even His creation is filled with pictures of His love for you! (Is. 40:26, Col.1:16, Rev. 4:11, Rom. 8:19-22) The Bride's character is one of commitment with no turning back. Jesus said leave everything, follow Me (Lk 18:22-29, Mk 10:28-31). She wants to please her God and follow His teachings (Ez 11:19-20). She wants to learn everything about Him and lay down her whole life for Him (Rom. 12:1). This perfect love casts out fear (1Jn 4:18) and has complete trust in her God. Where she lacks, she knows the gift of love, Jesus, is faithful to complete the work in her (Ph1:6) as it is written on her heart (Jer 31:33, 2 Co3:3), by His hand. The closer the Bride is to her God, the more she will be like Him (1Jn 3:2) until they are one and she is complete! They do live happily ever after in an eternal Kingdom of love! (Rev. 19:7-9) The story is written, the invitation is out, now He leaves it up to you, the lover of your soul, Jesus, Yeshua, ..... R.S.V.P
