Young Entrepreneurship Enrichment Program — YEP

 

The Young Entrepreneurship Enrichment Program (YEP), an initiative of Guiding Light Ministry, serves youth ages 8 to 18 and is dedicated to empowering young people through educational enrichment, entrepreneurship, creativity, character development, and practical life skills.

Through hands-on learning experiences, students are encouraged to explore their gifts, develop confidence, strengthen communication and leadership skills, and learn how to turn their ideas into meaningful opportunities.

Our enrichment programming may include:

• Entrepreneurship education

• Financial literacy

• Business etiquette

• Leadership and communication

• STEM and creative activities

• Hands-on projects

• Practical life skills

• Character development

• Product development and presentation

• Customer service

• Marketing and branding

• Opportunities for youth to create and showcase their own products and ideas

 

Educational Enrichment & Step Up For Students

YEP also provides educational enrichment opportunities for homeschool students and families.

As a Step Up For Students EMA provider, we offer eligible families additional opportunities for structured educational enrichment beyond the traditional classroom setting.

Our goal is to provide a supportive learning environment where students can strengthen academic and practical skills while also discovering their creativity, confidence, leadership abilities, and entrepreneurial potential.

At YEP, we are not simply teaching young people how to start a business. We are helping develop confident thinkers, responsible leaders, creative problem-solvers, and young people who understand the importance of serving and giving back to their communities
